BAK’s artistic director Maria Hlavajova gives a talk in Barcelona on 10 December 2014, as a part of the second On Mediation training seminar, organized by the Art, Globalization, Interculturality (AGI) research group of the Department of Art History, University of Barcelona, Barcelona.

ON MEDIATION/2: Theory and Curatorial Practices in the Global Art, is a theoretical and practical training seminar, where various perspectives are addressed in order to identify different methodologies to promote the curatorial practice towards a multidisciplinary scenario. Course: Art as Politics [Rerun on Request]

Due to popular demand, BAK Public Studies offers yet another rerun of the online course Art as Politics, taking place on the following dates: 26 October & 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30 November 2020. This digital extension of BAK Public Studies, taught by Maria Hlavajova, is prompted by the urgency to continue collective thinking through, learning about, and imagining critical, politically-informed artistic practices that grasp—and intervene into—the present.
