Deze lezing-performance is een voortzetting op de aannames en subjectiviteiten die BAK 2017–2018 Fellow Ola Hassanain heeft verzameld in haar project Back and Forth (2016–doorlopend).

Het project vraagt hoe we de ruimte van gendercollectieven opnieuw kunnen vormgeven om beleid onder bepaalde machtsstructuren te bevragen. Vervolgens is de vraag hoe deze politieke dialogen een transitie van privé- naar publieke sfeer kunnen bewerkstelligen. Door middel van performatieve gebaren vormt deze lezing-performance een moment van overdracht van een manier van politieke dialoog uit Khartoem.
