Morgan Quaintance is a writer, curator, musician, and broadcaster. He received his undergraduate training in Sound Art and Design at the London College of Communication and went on to complete the MA program in Curating Contemporary Art at the Royal College of Art, London. Quaintance regularly contributes to Art Monthly, Art Review, Frieze, and Rhizome, among other journals, curatorial sites, and blogs. He is a contributing editor for e-flux’s online publishing portal Art Agenda and is a founding member of the curatorial collective DAM PROJECTS. His recent curatorial work includes: Alice Khalilova: Broken Tusk, ASPACE, London, 2015 (with DAM PROJECTS); Pre Owned: Looks Good Man, Cell Project Space, London, 2014; Letter from New Orleans, ASPACE, London, 2014 (with DAM PROJECTS); and Sheldon Nadelman: Terminal Portraits, 1972–1982, The Old Science Museum, Birmingham, 2010. As a presenter, he currently works with the BBC’s flagship arts program, The Culture Show, and is also producer of Studio Visit, a weekly hour-long interview show broadcast featuring international contemporary artists as guests.
