Birgitta Jónsdóttir is a “poetician,” a former parliamentarian for Civic Movement and Pirate Party in the Icelandic Parliament, and a chairman for the International Modern Media Institute, Reykjavik. A long-time activist, Jónsdóttir specializes in twenty-first century lawmaking and focuses on direct democracy, freedom of expression, information, and digital privacy.
