Ana Naomi de Sousa is an independent documentary filmmaker and journalist. She is the director of The Architecture of Violence; Hacking Madrid; Angola, Birth of a Movement; and Guerrilla Architect. As an in-house producer for Al Jazeera English, she worked in the Americas, the Middle East and Africa. Her work is concerned with activism, memory, architecture, geography, and popular culture. She writes for Al Jazeera English and The Guardian among others. For Forensic Architecture she works on film, media, storytelling and narrative. Naomi de Sousa lives and works in London.
