On Wednesday 4 December 2019, BAK, basis voor actuele kunst, Utrecht proudly presented a lecture by Distinguished Professor David Harvey - Disrupting Neoliberal Urban Governance: New Organisational Forms for the Future.

From 7-10 November 2019, BAK joined forces with Le Guess Who? festival 2019. Besides hosting several of the festival's events, this special performance was part of the program.

This lecture is based on the Diego de la Vega Coffee Co-op, a cooperative by Fran Ilich (based in Mexico and New York City) where coffee and politics meet.

In the spirit of "Open Access", a conceptual framework for accessibility Papalia developed, the public is invited into a collectively envisioned space emerging from the principles of trust and mutual care.
