About sustainability
Perspectives is a program by De Voorkamer to foster inclusivity and acceptance by creating a safe space for people of all backgrounds to engage in dialogue, share opinions, and develop ideas around topical issues that affect everyone.
The ultimate goal is to create a safe environment whereby we invite people to be active listeners for perspectives that are beyond their own, and to create joint learning and exchange.
Bi-monthly event
During this bi-monthly event, participants have the opportunity to listen and engage in conversations on topical issues that could be related to current news, they could be controversial or sensitive topics that the community want to discuss.
Theme: sustainability
This latest edition of Perspectives, hosted by BAK Community Portal, is focused on the theme of sustainability. Green energy, smart cities, ‘consuminderen’ and recycling are a few examples of widespread ideas connected to the ideal of a sustainable future. Sustainability is about finding ways of living and functioning as a society without compromising the livelihoods of future generations. How can we achieve this?
