We together cook a delicious and accessible plant-based meal; organize program and hold a space for the extended network of community kitchens, food activists, friends, comrades, creatives and Basecamp inhabitants to gather, share, learn, un-learn and enjoy a meal together. This week meet the Young Future Food Movement!
Are you interested in meeting new, interesting people and contributing to a tighter community in Utrecht? Do you like engaging in movements that aim to make the world a better, nicer place? Do you enjoy sharing delicious, donation-based food, listening to groovy music, and expressing yourself through art? If so, this event just might be for you!
The ‘Movement Building Dinner’ is simply a space to continue gaining momentum as the Young Future Food Movement. The dinner will be cooked by volunteers who are training to work at our food stall, where we eventually plan to serve several hundred meals per day to students. Alongside the meal, we will also have space for anyone to contribute to our co-created ‘YFFM banner’ which represents our collective dreams, visions, and artistic expressions for a better world.

About the Young Future Food Movement
The Young Future Food Movement (YFFM) is a student-led organization whose core mission is to improve food, community, and relationships between people and nature at the Utrecht Science Park and the broader Utrecht community. They are currently setting up a food stall at the Science Park to serve local, affordable, plant-based meals to students; and they are ramping up a campus composting program to mobilize students and turn local waste into fresh veggies.
