open style dance battle, exhibition and after-talk
convened by Sasha Pak and Noor Jayani (from and with love Battle)
as part of the Young Builders program

An exhibition, where multidisciplinary artists will present their works, inspired in some way by movement. Expect to see video works, photography, poetry, jewelry and crochet accessories. Some works will be for sale, so make sure to give makers a warm support.

An open style battle to R&B music:
We start with a warming up jam and exchange in cyphers.
An open style category means there is no limitation in a specific dance style that is expected to be represented. Show up as you are and connect to the music!

This is an open invitation to join us in a playful battle concept, where the focus lays in connection with yourself, with one another, with the music, and with the moment. Can you dance against and with your opponent?

Afterwards we sum it up in a short aftertalk, or maybe even a discussion.

This event includes an all female line up, and we want to create a bridge between different people and also different dance styles. Everyone is welcome!

LINE-UP

Filtrando realidades
Filtrando realidades invites us on a journey through different ways of perceiving the body and space. Through movement and the manipulation of imagery, it challenges the boundaries between the real and the imagined, exploring new ways of inhabiting the same reality.

We are Víctor and Laia, a creative duo exploring different forms of expression through music production, DJing, and audiovisual projects, with movement always at the heart of our work. Driven by what inspires us, we experiment with different creative languages to shape art that moves us and reflects who we are.

Chayenne Rhoda “AFRODA” - jewelry

walk in the park on a cloudy day
a video by Shanna Park

The video is a visual poem that expresses a desire to be closer to nature: the presence and peace it invites, the value of connecting with silence and slowness. The video consists of four phases: observing - imitating - embracing - submerging.

Un-ordinary
by Tammy Thingzz

I make and crochet different kinds of accessoires. From hats and beanies to keychains, plushies, and more. Every piece i make is different and unique. With this i want people to wear their pieces with flair and swag without the fear of looking ordinary.

Poetry & exhibition
by Muk Klein Oonk

In zijzoenen all facets of love are experienced. The ruthlessness and vulnerability — raw and unfiltered, painful and ugly, yet also hopeful, longing, and promising — hidden between these pages is an experience that will not leave you unmoved.

The strongest emotion we can experience brings both euphoric happiness and intense sadness. With a razor-sharp gaze into the human inner world, Klein Oonk reveals what drives people, what they conceal, and what remains unspoken. Her words linger, whisper, grate — and won't let you go.

Muk Klein Oonk is a writer, a trained dancer, and a photographer. From an intuitive sense of image, movement, and language, she developed her own voice: sharp, poetic, and elusive, where observation and introspection intersect. As a child, she was told to keep talking; the words were already there, she just had to catch them. Time and again, she asks the same restless question: Does harm-free loving exist?
