Join us for a conversation with the authors of two groundbreaking books: Heartbeat Art (MIT Press), by Claudia Arozqueta, an innovative history of heartbeats, pulse, and technoscience in the arts, and Building a Voice: Sound, Surface, Skin (Goldsmith Press), by Zeynep Bulut, an original exploration of the embodiment and mediation of the voice as skin.
The conversation will be moderated by Xenia Benivolski, a writer and curator specialized in sound, visual art, and material culture.
