This public lecture and discussion with Laura Raicovich will draw from her book Culture Strike: Art and Museums in an Age of Protest (Verso, 2021) and text, 'Museums Are Never Neutral' (Frieze, 2020) to address the urgencies affecting and faced in cultural spaces today. Join us to discuss the necessity of rethinking and rebuilding cultural spaces, across Dutch and American contexts.

Laura Raicovich is a writer, curator and former director of the Queens Museum in New York. Recently she has been nominated as a member of the International Advisory Board Rotterdam (EDBR).
